An elderly adult patient presented at the emergency department for hematuria. The patient had a hemoglobin of 6.2 g/dL, a hematocrit of 18.1%, a total bilirubin of 0.9 mg/dL, a platelet count of 148 K/cu mm, an INR of 1.2, and no growth in the urine culture.
