Clinical Vignette

An adult female patient initially presented to an outside hospital with concern for prolonged menses. An endometrial mass was discovered which was managed surgically, and required RBC transfusions.

She presented to your facility with shortness of breath and there were concerns for pulmonary emboli. A type and screen was performed and typed as B Positive with a positive antibody screen.
